Production Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Assist with the mechanical assembly of industrial control panels and electrical enclosures.
- Use basic hand and power tools safely, including drills, drivers, wire strippers, and crimpers.
- Assist with panel preparation, layout support, component mounting, and material staging.
- Cut, prepare, and install components such as DIN rail, wire duct, and other panel hardware as assigned.
- Assist with basic electrical wiring after appropriate training.
- Follow work instructions, labels, drawings, and build documentation without unauthorized changes.
- Perform basic visual checks of your work and report missing material, damaged parts, drawing questions, or obvious build issues.
- Keep job materials, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Maintain an appropriate and consistent production pace while meeting quality expectations.
- Support experienced Panel Builders and other production employees as needed.
Production Assistant Qualifications:
- Good mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
- Willingness and ability to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and established processes
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work safely and accept direction
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
