1st Shift Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
1.Weld components in flat or vertical 2.Clamps, holds, tack-welds, heat-bends, grinds or bolts component parts to obtain required configurations & positions for welding 3.Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes, such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding 4.Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material 5.Recognizes, sets up, and operates hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment 6.Lays out, positions, aligns, and secures parts and assemblies prior to assembly, use straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers 7.Operate Forklift
1st Shift Welder Qualifications:
1.Min. 2-yrs welding exp.
2.Min. 1-yr painting exp.
3.Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy
4.Able to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication
5.Able to apply common sense to performing job
6.Able to make decisions which have moderate impact on immediate work unit
7. Aptitude tests required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
