Surface Mount Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
- Set up, operate, and monitor SMT pick-and-place equipment used in circuit board production.
- Load component reels, perform changeovers, and verify machine setup for production runs.
- Inspect circuit boards for component placement, solder quality, and manufacturing defects.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues, clear jams, and communicate recurring problems to supervisors.
- Follow work instructions, bills of materials, and production documentation while meeting quality and output goals.
Surface Mount Operator Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous SMT, electronics manufacturing, machine operation, or PCB assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with small electronic components.
- Ability to inspect circuit boards using magnification tools and identify quality defects.
- Must be comfortable standing and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment throughout the shift.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
