Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
• Work with Operations Management to prioritize orders and special projects• Complete daily tasks• Move steel bar and tube within the facility utilizing forklifts and overhead cranes• Maintain traceability of the product• Report any deficiencies to Management/Supervisor• Assist in organizing material storage systems• Perform hardness tests on steel product• Use a tape measure to verify dimension on steel products• Package material for shipment• Participate in all inventory cycle count/year end, as needed• Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies at Tube Supply• Perform other duties that may be assigned by your Supervisor
Material Handler Qualifications:
• Forklift experience required; overhead crane experience preferred • Must be able to speak and read English and accurately use a measuring tape • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand or walk for up to 4 hours at a time • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with forklifts, cranes, machinery, and West Texas temperatures • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
