Steel Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum boat components
- Set up and position components according to specifications
- Read blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding procedures
- Inspect finished welds and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Work closely with team members and supervisors in a professional shop environment
Steel Welder Qualifications:
- Previous welding experience, training, or hands-on exposure required; this is a great opportunity for a developing welder
- Demonstrated job longevity - 2+ years with previous employers is strongly preferred and does not need to be in a welding position
- Trainable attitude with a willingness to learn new welding techniques and processes
- Basic mechanical skills and comfort working with hand and power tools
- Clean-cut, professional, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
