Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
This role is essential for maintaining equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring production continuity. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in general machine maintenance and be available for an early morning training shift, with the likelihood of transitioning to a second shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair on various types of machinery and equipment.
- Utilize a range of hand tools efficiently for diagnostic and repair tasks.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace components such as gears, belts, and chains.
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on small motors.
- Identify mechanical malfunctions and implement timely solutions.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company operational procedures.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in general maintenance, specifically with machine repair.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools.
- Working knowledge of mechanical components including gears, belts, chains, and small motors.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Prior maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Welding experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of performing physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
