Welder Details:
Temporary position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
$19 an hour Monday-Friday 7am-330pm Crate RefurbishmentWorking in a welding environment.Pressure washingGeneral cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, etc.Must be able to wear required PPE such as, gloves, safety glasses, and face shields.Must furnish their own steel toe boots.Overtime and some Saturday’s may be requiredSome lifting of 20-30 lbs. may be required.Using spray paintUsing hand tools such as grinders, hammers, drills, reciprocating saw, and scraping toolsWork will require bending, stooping, and reaching.There will be a per day minimum to be refurbished.Inspecting the structural integrity of the crate, replacing missing parts and hardware,removal of trash and old shipping labels, and overall quality.
Welder Qualifications:
Previous welding experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding instructions Experience with MIG, TIG, or stick welding, depending on the position.
Ability to set up and safely operate welding equipment Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and materials.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to inspect welds for accuracy and defects Ability to safely use hand and power tools Must follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Ability to lift and move materials as required Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
