Shipping & Receiving Specialist – WMS & Forklift
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team! This role is responsible for managing inbound receiving and outbound shipping through a warehouse management system, operating a forklift, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Shipping & Receiving Specialist – WMS & Forklift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:30am to05:00pm )
- Manage inbound receiving and outbound shipping using a WMS
- Receive shipments, verify quantities/SKUs, and document discrepancies or damages
- Enter and maintain accurate inventory records, including transfers, and cycle counts
- Create shipping labels, and required paperwork
- Prepare orders according to specific packing and labeling requirements
- Safely operate sit-down or stand-up reach forklifts
- Use RF scanners, and other warehouse technology
- Ensure inventory matches system records
Shipping & Receiving Specialist – WMS & Forklift Qualifications:
• Current forklift certification — sit-down counterbalance and/or stand-up reach. Recent, verifiable operating hours, not a card from five years ago with no seat time since
• Warehouse management system (WMS) experience — hands-on, daily use of a real WMS for receiving against purchase orders, putaway, picking, packing, cycle counts, and creating shipments
• 1+ year of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse, distribution center, 3PL, or ecommerce fulfillment operation
• Carrier shipping experience — has created labels and paperwork in FedEx, UPS, DHL, or USPS systems and understands bills of lading and packing lists
• Computer literacy — comfortable working in a web-based system and reading a spreadsheet
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for a full 8 hour shift
