Description
Machine Operator
The Machine Operator position is a position responsible for operating wood processing equipment such as drills, glue sprayers, vinyl presses, and other equipment as needed. Manufacturing background is required, and experience with machines and semi-automated equipment is a plus.

Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Read work orders and select the appropriate program to run each individual part
- Complete required quality checks.
- Meet quoted completion times.
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
- Maintain activity logs
Machine Operator Qualifications:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to lift, push and pull product weighing up to 50 pounds multiple times a day
- Able to bend, twist and stand for up to 12 hours
- Able to tolerate an environment where sawdust particles are present?
- Able to communicate in an environment with a medium to high level of ambient noise
- Standing and walking approximately 100 percent of work time
- Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of CNC machines and operation, point-to-point machines, edge banders, and/or saws within the wood manufacturing arena is desired
- Follows directions and completes paperwork correctly and neatly Interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with individuals both internally and externally
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
