Sheet Metal Quality Control Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to04:00pm )
- Perform in-process and final inspections of fabricated metal parts, including welded, laser-cut, punched, sheared, and formed components.
- Conduct first-piece inspections, roving quality checks, and in-process audits to verify parts meet specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks to inspect parts.
- Document inspection results, tag approved parts, log rejected parts, and enter quality data into the MRP system.
Sheet Metal Quality Control Qualifications:
- Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and requirements.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
- Comfortable using computers and performing accurate data entry.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to stay focused and work efficiently under time constraints.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
