Wave Planner
We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical Wave Planners to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse operations by monitoring and managing workflow through our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS). The ideal candidate will identify efficiencies, make real-time adjustments, and ensure a balanced flow across all operational areas to meet daily production goals.

Wave Planner Details:
Temporary position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- Front Half – Sunday-Wednesday 6am-4:30pm - $25/hr
- Back Half – Wednesday-Saturday 6am-4:30pm - $25/hr2nd Shift – Monday-Friday 5pm-1:30am - $25/hr
- Must be able to work OT during peak seasons
- Monitor and assess Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) to determine the overall efficiency of workflow.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies in workflow across replenishment, picking, put wall, packing, and shipping processes.
- Implement wave and labor adjustments as needed to optimize operational flow and address bottlenecks.
- Continuously monitor the order queue, ensuring a proper balance between replenishment, picking, put wall, packing, and shipping activities.
- Collaborate with other wave planners, aiding in assigning and monitoring each wave.
- Accurately complete and close waves within the warehouse management system.* Utilize forecasts to develop and implement effective labor plans for all key warehouse functions, including replenishment, picking, put wall, packing, and shipping.
- Assign maintenance requests based on operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement.
Wave Planner Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
