Gate Clerk 2nd Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.30 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 04:00pm to12:00am )
- Check drivers in and out while verifying shipping paperwork, bills of lading, invoices, and tracking information.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments according to established shipping and carrier requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, databases, gate logs, and operational documentation.
- Coordinate with drivers, carriers, warehouse employees, and operations staff to support timely freight movement.
Gate Clerk 2nd Shift Qualifications:
- Previous shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory, warehouse, or gate-clerk experience preferred.
- Strong administrative, computer, and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and customer-service skills when working with drivers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, including mandatory overtime as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
