Pipe Support Designer Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
30.00 to $ 32.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:45am to05:15pm )
Job Details
- Design and create pipe support plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software
- Develop 3D models and detailed designs for new and existing pipe support systems
- Review and verify drawings and bills of materials for accuracy before manufacturing
- Collaborate with engineering, estimating, production, manufacturing, and customers to ensure quality designs
- Apply industry codes, standards, and engineering requirements to all assigned projects
- Utilize MicroStation, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to create and maintain design documentation
- Ensure all engineering files, drawings, and documentation are maintained accurately and securely
Pipe Support Designer Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a 3D modeling environment working specifically with pipe supports
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Navisworks
- Associate degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of industry safety practices and engineering procedures
- Experience with or understanding of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 standards preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
