Maintenance Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:30am to05:00pm )
- Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, debris removal, and unit preparation.
- Perform basic maintenance repairs such as changing locks, replacing fixtures, and minor drywall repairs.
- Support grounds maintenance by collecting litter, mowing, trimming, and maintaining common areas.
- Respond to routine work orders and assist senior maintenance staff with repairs and property upkeep.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- Six (6) months of experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, custodial, or general labor work preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and safely use hand and power tools.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
