We are hiring a Laser Drilling Operator to join a specialized precision manufacturing operation in Fort Wayne. This company manufactures high-precision wire drawing dies and tooling used throughout the wire and cable industry. As a Laser Drilling Operator, you will operate specialized laser drilling equipment used in the manufacturing of precision tooling.

Laser Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.88 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:00pm )
- Operate and monitor laser drilling equipment used to manufacture precision wire-drawing dies
- Set up and position small, precision components in the machine
- Follow work instructions, specifications, and production requirements
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
- Use measuring equipment and inspection tools to verify dimensions Identify defects, inconsistencies, or machine issues and report them appropriately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Laser Operator Qualifications:
- Manufacturing, machine operating, CNC, laser, or precision machining experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with very small components
- Comfortable using basic measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive precision work
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a precision manufacturing environment is a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
