Temporary Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Staff Accountant to provide leave coverage within the Finance Department of a health center!

Temporary Staff Accountant Details:
Temporary position- $
23.68 to $ 35.52 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Accurately record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Research and resolve routine accounting inquiries, discrepancies, and account issues from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with annual audits by compiling documentation and preparing auditor support schedules.
- Provide backup support for payroll processing and perform other accounting duties as needed to support department operations.
Temporary Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within a nonprofit environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial reconciliation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of an organization.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work 8+ week temporary assignment
