Sanitation Technician – Heavy Water Cleaning
This is a hands-on, physically demanding position with approximately 80% of the work involving water and power hoses. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and facility areas in a manufacturing environment. Must be comfortable working in wet, hot, and cold conditions, using cleaning chemicals, and lifting up to 50–70 lbs. Flexible schedule, weekends, and overtime may be required. Sanitation Technician – Heavy Water Cleaning Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, ceilings, and production areas.
- Work with cleaning chemicals, including chlorine, acids, and detergents.
- Lift up to 50 lbs., or up to 70 lbs. when using power hoses.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, crouch, and climb stairs/ladders throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, GMP, and PPE requirements.
Sanitation Technician – Heavy Water Cleaning Qualifications:
- Must be flexible with schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Knowledge or ability to learn chemical usage, proportions and regulations
- Knowledge of sanitation equipment and tools
- Knowledge of GMPs and Sanitation Procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle difficult and/or sensitive situations
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
