Distribution Associate Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.28 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift ( Tuesday throughThursday from 04:30pm to05:00am )
- Accurately receive, process, stock, & select merchandise for shipment
- Perform manual material handling, including grasping, lifting (floor to overhead), & carrying heavy /or bulky merchandise
- Load / unload trailers by hand, from floor to ceiling, & place/remove merchandise onto/from conveyors, racks, pallets, & into/out of boxes
- Safely operate motorized & non-motorized equipment to unload trailers, transport, select, stock, & load merchandise for shipment
- Conduct quality checks on incoming & outgoing merchandise, identifying and reporting manufacturers' defects & damage, ensuring merchandise is handled without damage during processing
- Meet established safety, accuracy, attendance, & production standards for all assigned tasks
Distribution Associate Qualifications:
- Proven ability to frequently lift / carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively, /occasionally up to 75 pounds, from floor to overhead
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
- Proficiency in using RF scanners or similar inventory management devices (e.g., LRT) preferred.
- Experience with pick/pack processes & general merchandise handling preferred
- Strong safety orientation & adherence to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
- Ability to work effectively both independently & as part of a team.
- Must be able to continuously move throughout the facility
- Comfortable working in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures & noisy environments.
- Proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
