**Job Title:** 1st Shift Core Saw (Temporary)**Schedule:**Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PMOvertime opportunities may extend shifts until 5:30 PM and include Friday work.Breaks: 7:50 AM - 8:00 AM, 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Lunch), 2:00 PM - 2:10 PM.**Pay Rate:** $15.00 - $16.00 per hour (Pay up to $16.00/hour may apply when working in specific departments).**Job Summary:**We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for a temporary 1st Shift Core Saw position. This role is integral to our manufacturing operations, involving a variety of production duties, machinery operation, and general labor tasks within a fast-paced industrial environment. Candidates must be prepared for a full-time schedule with potential for overtime.**Key Responsibilities:*** Operate core saw and other production machinery within the saw department.* Perform general production tasks as needed across various departments.* Assist in the box department, which may include stacking sheets of cardboard and feeding them into boxing machines.* Work in the specialty room, potentially operating glue machines.* Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.**Work Environment:*** Industrial manufacturing setting.* A breakroom is available for employee use.* Be aware that some areas of the facility may have sawdust present.**Physical Demands:*** Ability to stand continuously for 10 to 12-hour shifts.* Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds repetitively.* Proficiency in general tool and hand operations.* Must be able to perform physical actions such as pulling, pushing, stooping, bending, and standing for extended periods.**Qualifications & Requirements:*** Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and safety protocols.* General labor experience or strong aptitude for manufacturing tasks.* Willingness and availability to work overtime as required, including extended daily hours and potential Fridays.* Adherence to our dress code: manufacturing-appropriate attire including t-shirts, jeans, and appropriate shorts/tops (nothing revealing, no tank tops).* Mandatory wear of closed-toed shoes.* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required.
