Wellhead Designer Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $30.00 to $37.00 /hour
• First Shift

• Design and develop conventional and compact wellhead equipment, assemblies, and components for oil and gas applications
• .Create detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, and layouts using SolidWorks.
• Design pressure-containing components in accordance with API 6A, applicable ASME standards, and internal engineering requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed Bills of Material (BOMs), part structures, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Prepare manufacturing drawings that include appropriate tolerances, materials, surface finishes, heat-treatment requirements, coatings, and inspection requirements.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ISO drafting standards to ensure components are functional, manufacturable, and interchangeable.
• Develop assembly procedures, running procedures, pressure-test procedures, and other technical documentation required for manufacturing and field operations
• Support the design and modification of customer-specific wellhead configurations based on application requirements, pressure ratings, temperature ranges, casing programs, and operational conditions.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to ensure proposed designs meet application and industry requirements.
• Work closely with Sales and Applications teams to develop technical solutions and support customer proposals and quotations.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing wellhead products, streamline designs, reduce manufacturing costs, and improve product performance.
