We are seeking a skilled and motivated Set-Up & Process Technician to join our manufacturing team in Grandville, Michigan. This role is responsible for setting up production equipment, troubleshooting processing issues, and ensuring products meet quality standards while maintaining optimal machine performance. Setup & Process Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughThursday )
- Set up, start up, and adjust manufacturing equipment to meet production requirements
- Monitor and optimize processing parameters to ensure quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process-related issues
- Perform mold, die, tooling, or equipment changeovers as needed
- Complete quality checks and document production data accurately
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities and equipment improvements
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operating procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste
Setup & Process Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Set-Up Technician, Process Technician, Machine Setup Operator, or similar manufacturing role
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, production documentation, and quality specifications
- Experience with process adjustments and machine changeovers preferred
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
