Driver's Helper Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading lumber, building materials, and related products.
- Help stage materials at residential and commercial job sites according to customer requirements.
- Secure loads properly to ensure safe transportation and delivery.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy and report discrepancies promptly.
- Assist drivers with route navigation and job site location identification.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
- Perform general warehouse and yard duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support efficient daily operations and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Driver's Helper Qualifications:
- Previous delivery, warehouse, construction, or material handling experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50+ pounds independently or with team assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb on and off delivery trucks throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability with a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe material handling practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain attendance and punctuality.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
