Electrical Plant Maintenance Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
27.00 to $ 38.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday )
Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and automation systems to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency.
Maintain and Support:
- Automated production equipment
- Electrical and electronic systems
- Overhead cranes
- Mobile equipment
- Utility systems
- Building electrical and lighting systems
- Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities.
- Create and manage calibration work orders according to established schedules and procedures.
- Use SAP and E-Merge systems to track maintenance activities and manage parts inventory.
- Troubleshoot and respond to major equipment failures and plant breakdowns as needed.
Electrical Plant Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Technical degree in Electrical Technology, Electronic Technology, or related field
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems
- Ability to pass a physical examination and complete a practical/theoretical maintenance test
Required Technical Experience:
- Allen-Bradley PLCs
- DC Motors (GE & Reliance)
- AC Motors (GE, Baldor, and similar)
Preferred:
- Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drives and VFDs Instrumentation (thermocouples, pressure, level, and flow devices)
- IBA Analyzer software and process trending
- Electrical switchgear, MCCs, and contactor cabinets
- Industrial automation and instrumentation systems
- SAP and E-Merge maintenance systems
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
