Electrical Safety Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
80,000.00 to $ 90,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Design, implement, and continuously improve safety protocols, guidelines, and procedures that align with industry standards and government regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and root-cause analyses to identify potential risks and ensure that corrective action is taken.
- Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents. Compile reports, determine causes, and work with leadership to implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and new hires to promote safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry standards.
Electrical Safety Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Environmental Health, Occupational safety, or related working experience.
- OHSA-30 certified.
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout.
- Experience with ergonomic lifting.
- Experience with repetitive motion fatigue with mitigation.
- Experience with PIV Training.
- Experience with continuous improvement.
