Staff Accountant
Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Staff Accountant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.27 to $ 33.47 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices and employee expenses.
- Record cash receipts, deposits, grant reimbursements, and other revenue transactions.
- Assist with financial reporting, audit preparation, and variance analysis.
- Support departments with financial questions, budgeting, and process improvements.
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred(nonprofit or grant-funded experience is a plus)
- Understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices.
- Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- A valid Oregon Driver’s license with a record that is acceptable
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
