Production Associate Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.50 to $18.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available

ProductionShifts are Monday – Friday with the potential for overtime on Saturdays.

Start and end times vary by site yet all shifts are a straight 8 hours.

1ST SHIFT: Hours between 6AM-3PM

2ND SHIFT: Hours between 2PM-11PM

3RD SHIFT: Hours between 10PM-7AM-training on first day will require reporting up to 1 hour prior to normal shift start time

Assist with manufacturing and packaging of candy (caramel and chocolates)

Mixing of candy, caramel

Dip pretzels into caramel

Placing product on lines for dipping into chocolate

Work on conveyor belt with wrapping and packaging of assorted candies

Place packaged candy in containers

Place containers into boxes

Misc. duties as needed

Will also be required to clean and sanitize warehouse and work areas when asked.

Required Qualifications:Ability to stand for 8 hours shift

Bend, lift, twist and move 50 lbs

Reliable attendance habits

Wear gown, hair net and long pants and comply with

GMP’s

Ask candidate if they are comfortable working in a food production facility where nuts are present.

If candidate is uncomfortable with this requirement, reject the candidate

Disqualify if:-If not willing to comply with strict dress code for food production environment 

Must wear hairnet, beard nets and other

PPE.-If unable to communicate in English or Spanish for safety reasons

-Not comfortable standing in one spot for a long period of time

-unable to work mandatory Saturdays

-unable to report up to 1 hour prior to normal shift start time on first day for mandatory training

Follow all GMP regulations

Rehires: Ask if candidate has worked for Candy Co before. If the candidate discloses they have worked at Candy Co, and mark candidate as review as all rehires must be reviewed.

Disqualify if:-Unable to work Saturdays when required for Overtime

-Unable to read and speak in English or Spanish for safety reasons

-Unable to stand for 8 hour shift

-Unable to lift at least 25 lbs
