Tool Crib Attendant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
23.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
As the Tool Crib Attendant, you will manage tool and equipment inventory within an active automotive plant. You will be issuing, receiving, tracking, and maintaining a diverse range of tools and supplies. The attendant will also support parts procurement and delivery, contributing directly to our production success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies within the tool crib, ensuring availability and optimal stock levels.
- Accurately issue and receive tools, equipment, and materials to and from personnel, maintaining precise transaction records.
- Inspect returned tools for damage, wear, or malfunction, initiating repair or replacement procedures as necessary.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Operate a company van to pick up parts for clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated locations.
- Assist with purchasing-related activities, including processing requisitions, receiving goods, and verifying documentation
Tool Crib Attendant Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar inventory management or logistics role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
