Procurement Project Manager Details:
Direct Hire position- $
75,000.00 to $ 88,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Lead and manage procurement activities for large-diameter steel pipe manufacturing projects.
- Manage multiple process improvement, capital, and technical procurement projects from planning through completion.
- Develop cost-effective purchasing strategies, evaluate spending, and identify opportunities for cost and quality improvements.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while sourcing new vendors and ensuring timely material deliveries.
- Communicate project and procurement status to management while developing strategies to minimize supply and production risks.
Procurement Project Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of procurement project management experience with a proven track record of successfully completing projects.
- Associate degree in Business or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Strong project management, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP procurement system preferred.
- Must be able to read blueprints, including machined parts, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical assemblies; successful candidates must pass background and substance screening.
