Telehandler Operator – Material Handling Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- Operate a telehandler to safely move pipes, heavy materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the mine site.
- Load and unload materials from trucks safely and efficiently.
- Work outdoors in a mining environment with exposure to dust, noise, uneven terrain, heavy equipment, and changing weather conditions.
- Safely operate equipment around other vehicles, machinery, and personnel. Complete required equipment inspections and report any safety or mechanical issues.
- Ability to climb on and off equipment and operate machinery for extended periods. Assist with material-handling duties and other tasks as needed. Follow all mine-site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operating guidelines.
Telehandler Operator – Material Handling Qualifications:
- Previous telehandler experience required, preferably in mining, construction, industrial, or heavy material-handling environments.
- Experience operating telehandlers to move pipes, heavy loads, equipment, and supplies, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Ability to safely operate equipment on uneven terrain and around other heavy machinery, vehicles, and personnel.
- Must be able to complete pre-shift equipment inspections and identify basic mechanical or safety issues.
- Must meet all required site-specific safety, training, background, drug screening, and physical requirements, as applicable.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
