Manual Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Use a variety of precision and cutting tools & equipment, such as a drill press, chop saw, lathe, milling machine, and push & pull broaches.
- Cut, shape and fabricate tools and machine parts.
- Read and follow blueprints.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions and specifications.
- Understand and comply with industry regulations.
- Regularly clean, maintain and repair machinery and equipment as needed.
Manual Machinist Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate; trade school preferred.
- At lease one year of related experience.
- The ability to perform basic math and follow instructions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand in place while working.
- Mechanical aptitude to use a variety of industry tools and machinery.
- Strong analytical skills, precision and attention to detail.
