Multiple openings for dependable safety-conscious Yard Drivers for global logistics company for a facility in Shreveport, LA. This role is responsible for the safe movement, parking, inspection, and preparation of vehicles to ship to dealerships.

Yard Driver Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
13.50 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:00pm )
- Safely move and park vehicles throughout the yard & in and out of buildings
- Follow vehicle handling procedures and traffic regulations.
- Inspect vehicles before operation for damage or mechanical issues.
- Report accidents, hazards, damage, and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Read parking maps and identify correct vehicle locations.
- Transport vehicles for inspections, fueling, washing, and processing.
- Check tire pressure and battery condition using handheld equipment.
- Drive vehicles on and off conveyors.
- Remove protective wraps and trash from vehicles.
- Complete required checklists accurately and on time.
- Assist with general yard operations as assigned.
Yard Driver Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license is requried.
- Ability to safely drive vehicles
- Safety-focused with attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and vehicle entry/exit.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and drive for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift and move materials as needed up to 45 lbs.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
