CAD Designer - Steel Fabrication Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Create and revise CAD drawings for steel canopies, fascia systems, and other fabricated steel components.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and measurements to develop accurate production-ready designs.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and installation teams to support project success and manufacturing efficiency.
- Prepare material lists, layouts, and detailed drawings to assist fabrication and field installation processes.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure all drawings meet company standards and customer requirements.
CAD Designer - Steel Fabrication Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency with CAD/CADD software and the ability to create accurate technical drawings.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, specifications, and measurements.
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including indoor and outdoor areas, and able to wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots.
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
