Description
Safety Technician
This is a contract Safety Technician position supporting safety and emergency response operations within a high-tech manufacturing environment. The role is heavily focused on auditing and compliance, including conducting routine safety audits and inspections, identifying and documenting hazards or policy concerns, reviewing work areas for compliance, investigating safety issues, and supporting corrective actions. Safety Technicians also monitor life-safety systems and assist with emergency response, training, and site preparedness.

Safety Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.50 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughFriday from 06:15pm to05:45am )
- Monitor alarms, gas detection, and other life safety systems throughout the facility.
- Respond to medical, chemical, and other emergency situations, investigate, audit & report.
- Perform routine safety inspections and identify potential workplace hazards.
- Train on safety procedures and support emergency preparedness activities.
Safety Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of safety, emergency response, military, EMS, fire service, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to work 11-hour compressed day or night shifts in Dispatch First Responder Tech Manufacturing setting
- Must pass required pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug screening.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
