Patient Service Representative Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist patients with questions about their bills, insurance coverage, payment options, and account balances.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and insurance issues efficiently.
- Process payments and set up payment plans according to patient needs.
- Accurately document patient interactions and update account information in our system.
- Adhere to privacy laws (i.e. HIPAA) and company policies to protect patient information.
Patient Service Representative Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or medical billing environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance, billing practices, and patient payment processes preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive patient interactions with compassion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in computer systems and experience with electronic health records (EHR) or billing software preferred.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check

- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
