Casting Production Manager Details:
Direct Hire position- $
90,000.00 to $ 110,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Lead daily foundry production across melting, molding, finishing, and related operations to meet production and customer demands.
- Manage, train, and mentor supervisors and hourly associates while building a safety- and quality-driven culture.
- Monitor production KPIs, equipment efficiency, scrap, labor utilization, costs, and overall run rates.
- Drive continuous improvement using 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and other lean manufacturing practices.
- Partner with quality and maintenance teams to reduce defects, prevent repeat downtime, and improve equipment reliability.
Casting Production Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience. 3–7 years of related experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of melting, sand casting/molding, and finishing treatment processes.
- Proven experience managing teams, solving complex operational problems, and making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work safely in a high-temperature manufacturing environment while meeting the position’s physical requirements.
