Production Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 21.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, fabrication drawings, and welding specifications.
- Perform MIG welding and assist with TIG, FCAW, GTAW, and other welding processes as needed.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and fabrication tools.
- Assemble and weld metal components to meet quality and customer specifications.
- Inspect completed welds and perform grinding or rework when necessary.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Production Welder Qualifications:
- Ability to successfully complete an in-house weld test
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience with MIG Welding
Preferred
- Completion of a welding program or technical training.
- Previous manufacturing or production welding experience.
- AWS Welding Certification.
- Experience with TIG, FCAW, or GTAW welding.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
