Wood Lab Technician Details:
Temporary position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Operating Table saw, Radial arm saw, Bandsaw and Planers and cutting lumber
- Prepare and test samples following experimental designs provided by responsible chemist
- Assist lab personnel with testing as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, keeping lab equipment in good working order
- Assist in gluing projects as needed
- Set up testing using the Wood Lab TSR system
- Maintain neat notebooks and data records
Wood Lab Technician Qualifications:
- Wood sawyer or carpentry experience is required
- Ability to lift 25lb consistently
- Proficient in data entry and attention to detail
- Enjoys working in a team environment and learning new skills
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
