Electrical Controls Systems Engineer I Details:
Direct Hire position- $
86,000.00 to $ 94,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30am )
- Create, update, and maintain electrical power, control, instrumentation, and P&ID drawings using AutoCAD Electrical while interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Support electrical engineering projects through electrical calculations, PLC and HMI programming, PID loop configuration, BOM maintenance, project documentation, and design updates.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues and collaborate with engineers, designers, manufacturing, and operations teams to develop effective design solutions and improve project outcomes.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement efforts while supporting and mentoring entry-level electrical designers and CAD drafters.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements, including NEC, IEEE, MSHA, and company safety programs, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer service.
Electrical Controls Systems Engineer I Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology, or Associate's degree plus 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and technical math skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a manufacturing environment.
- EIT certification preferred; safety-focused with a commitment to quality standards.
