Value Engineer Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday)

• Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, CAD models, and application requirements to develop accurate and competitive product quotations.
• Analyze product configurations, materials, labor, manufacturing processes, and supplier pricing to determine product costs and profitability.
• Prepare and maintain cost models, pricing calculations, quotation documentation, and supporting engineering records.
• Evaluate product designs for manufacturability, feasibility, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to recommend product modifications that reduce cost, improve value, and maintain quality and performance.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Operations, Procurement, Product Management, and customer-facing teams regarding product capabilities, configurations, and requirements.
• Support custom product development, prototype evaluation, testing, engineering changes, and pre-production activities.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, and Product Management to resolve technical and commercial issues throughout the quoting and order fulfillment process.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, product data, cost analyses, design reviews, and spare parts information while supporting product configuration management.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve quoting accuracy, engineering efficiency, workflow automation, and product value using engineering systems, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and other automation tools.
