Shipping Associate/Forklift Driver Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday )
- Prepare, package, and label products for international shipment.
- Select appropriate packaging materials, crates, and containers to ensure safe transportation.
- Generate and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and export documentation.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company standards.
- Maintain an organized shipping area and monitor packaging material inventory. Assist with inventory counts and audits. Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate with international carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and communicate updates to internal teams.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training available).
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure products move efficiently from production to shipment.
Shipping Associate/Forklift Driver Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or international shipping experience preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Forklift or material handling equipment experience is a plus (training provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing shipping documentation.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages.
