Steel Fabrication Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Operate band saw and plasma cutting equipment to cut steel to specifications.
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
- Read work orders and measurements to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect materials for quality and maintain equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with additional fabrication and shop duties as needed.
Steel Fabrication Operator Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in steel fabrication, metal processing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience operating a steel saw, plasma cutter, and forklift required.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure, work orders, and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
