Service Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
52,000.00 to $ 62,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
Job Details
- Install, commission, and support industrial automation systems and robotic cells
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades
- Diagnose and repair PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and robotic systems
- Provide on-site and remote customer support
- Document service activities, reports, and system changes
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system improvements and retrofits
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
Service Technician Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or 2+ years of experience in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, etc.) preferred
- Strong understanding of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills in industrial environments
- Willingness to travel for customer support (up to 30%)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
