Tool Maker/ Machinist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
45,760.00 to $ 56,160.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
Job Details
- Operate mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, saws, and CNC machines to manufacture tooling and fixture components
- Machine one-off and custom parts to precise tolerances while maintaining quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce accurate tooling details
- Calculate proper speeds, feeds, and machining methods for various materials and applications
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Set up and troubleshoot machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Tool Maker/ Machinist Qualifications:
- Experience as a Tool Maker, Machinist, or CNC Machinist
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience operating manual and CNC machining equipment
- Strong understanding of machining practices, tolerances, speeds, and feeds
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques
- Experience verifying part quality using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs
- Mastercam programming experience or certification preferred
