Description
1st Shift Machine Operator
We are looking for a dependable Machine Operator to help fabricate steel parts in a fast-paced production environment. This position involves operating cutting and fabrication equipment, reading work orders and blueprints, inspecting parts for quality, and supporting production goals while working safely as part of a team.

1st Shift Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Operate production machinery and fabrication equipment
- Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production schedules
- Measure, cut, position, and secure steel parts and assemblies
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, squares, and templates Identify equipment issues and report maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
1st Shift Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment preferred
- Ability to read basic blueprints and measurements
- Basic welding experience is helpful
- Basic math and measurement skills Ability to work in a team environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Regular lifting of materials up to 45 lbs Occasional lifting of heavier materials up to 90+ lbs
