Shipping Clerk Details:
Temporary position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 05:30am to01:30pm )
- Prepare customer orders by picking, packing, labeling, and staging products for shipment.
- Verify shipment details against invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
- Create shipping labels, packing slips, manifests, and other required paperwork.
- Enter and update shipment information in warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate with carriers and drivers regarding pickups, deliveries, and shipment status.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, logs, and inventory documentation.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
Shipping Clerk Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, shipping, logistics, or distribution experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately complete shipping documentation.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and transportation partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
