Indsutrial painter Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Part Time work availableSecond Shift
Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, sanding, cleaning, masking, and removing rust or debris. Apply primer, paint, and industrial coatings using spray equipment, rollers, or brushes. Paint fabricated steel, overhead cranes, and other metal components according to customer specifications. Inspect painted surfaces for proper coverage, finish quality, and defects. Perform touch-up painting and make corrections as needed before final shipment. Mix paints, coatings, and hardeners according to manufacturer specifications. Maintain paint equipment, spray guns, and painting booths to ensure proper operation. Safely handle and store paints, solvents, and hazardous materials.
Indsutrial painter Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing paint environment. Experience applying industrial paints and protective coatings to steel and fabricated metal products. Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and spray-painting equipment. Ability to read work orders and follow paint specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes. Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Computer literate and able to complete basic production documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing/shop environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
