Automation Tech/Controls Programmer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
28.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC machines, laser systems, industrial robots, and other automated manufacturing equipment to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Develop and modify robot paths, PLC/HMI programs, and automation controls while supporting the installation, integration, and startup of new manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, system calibrations, and technical troubleshooting on automated machinery, documenting programming changes and repairs.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to improve manufacturing processes while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Requires experience with industrial automation, controls programming, robotics, CNC equipment, and PLC/HMI systems. Experience with Fanuc, KUKA, ABB robots or laser etching equipment is a plus.
Automation Tech/Controls Programmer Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls programming, robotics, CNC machining, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and programming issues.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs., and wearing required PPE.
