General Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.91 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician- such asbasic plumbing, routine electrical, carpentry, maintenance of building fixtures,and PM tasks.
- Manage assigned work orders through timely completion.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
- Ensure all hand tools, power tools, and equipment are maintained and in goodworking order.
- Adhere to safety standards, operate a variety of gasoline, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment ranging from plows, scrapers, backhoes, skid steers, man-lifts, and related equipment.
General Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Being a strong communicator in English, both orally and in writing.
- High school diploma or GED, vocational or trade school a plus.
- Previous experience in a skilled maintenance position with similarresponsibilities.
- Possession of a current, valid driver’s license; vehicle insurable with a gooddriving record in accordance with The College of Idaho’s vehicle policy.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
