We are seeking a dependable Knife Grinder to join a local wood products manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical skills who is willing to learn—minimal experience is required. Experience sharpening blades preferred

Knife Grinder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30am )
- Sharpen and grind industrial knives and cutting tools
- Inspect blades for wear, damage, and proper sharpness
- Operate grinding equipment safely and accurately
- Measure blades to ensure they meet required specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
Knife Grinder Qualifications:
- Minimal grinding, machining, or manufacturing experience is required.
- Experience sharpening blades preferred
- Basic mechanical ability and comfort working with tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Dependable attendance and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
