General Labor Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 05:00am to04:00pm )
- Quality Control, watching the cuber as it makes the block to meet spec.
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize various materials, including cement blocks and other construction-related products.
- Load finished products accurately and securely onto trucks and trailers for outbound shipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and product integrity.
- Unload incoming raw materials and components from delivery vehicles, transporting them to designated storage areas.
- Perform routine pre-operational checks on the forklift (e.g., battery, fluid levels, controls) and promptly report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and safety.* Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including manual material handling.
General Labor Qualifications:
- Repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching for extended periods.
- The ability to safely operate a forklift for the majority of the shift is essential.* 1 Year of sit-down forklift experience in the last 5 years is required
- Able to work outside and in a dusty environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
